In transformation contexts, predictive analytics can forecast initiative outcomes, predict resource bottlenecks, estimate time-to-value, and identify at-risk programs. Moving from descriptive analytics (what happened?) to predictive analytics (what will happen?) represents a significant step in analytics maturity.
