What is AI Readiness?
An organization's preparedness to successfully adopt and deploy artificial intelligence.
AI readiness refers to an organization's overall preparedness to successfully adopt, deploy, and scale artificial intelligence initiatives. It encompasses multiple dimensions: data quality and availability (do you have clean, accessible training data?), technical infrastructure (can your systems support ML workloads?), talent and skills (do you have data scientists and ML engineers?), organizational culture (is there executive sponsorship and willingness to adopt AI-driven decisions?), and governance frameworks (are there policies for model validation, bias detection, and explainability?). Organizations with low AI readiness often fail at AI projects not because of technical limitations, but because foundational capabilities are missing. A structured readiness assessment helps identify these gaps before committing resources to AI initiatives.
