What is ICE Scoring?
A prioritization method scoring initiatives on Impact, Confidence, and Ease.
ICE scoring is a simplified prioritization framework where each initiative is rated on three dimensions: Impact (how much value will this create?), Confidence (how certain are we about our estimates?), and Ease (how easy is this to implement?). The ICE score is calculated as Impact × Confidence × Ease. While simpler than RICE (which includes Reach), ICE is useful for quick prioritization decisions where user reach is less relevant.
